The
Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education (GCASE)
offers a scholarship to assist special education teachers and
administrators to attend the International Council for Exceptional
Children (CEC) conference each year.
In recognition of Dr. Anthony Molinaro's exceptional
contributions to the field of special education in Georgia, the G-CASE
Executive Committee has named this scholarship, The Tony Molinaro
Scholarship. Tony took special interest in helping teachers of
exceptional students to develop into the best they were capable of
being. One of the previous applicants said of Tony Molinaro ...
"he was a teacher in his heart. He cared deeply about each
child with a disability." It is in this spirit that G-CASE
offers this award annually to exemplary special educators.
The scholarship will be in the amount of $500 each
for two teachers and two administrators who are currently working in the
field of special education As a part of this award, each recipient shall be asked to
share his/her learning experiences from the CEC convention in an article
for the G-CASE newsletter.

Must be a current CEC member |

Must be nominated by a G-CASE
member. |

Requirements: |
Recipients must write an article
for the G-CASE newsletter upon return and provide documentation of
expenses |

Application: |
Complete form. |
| |
Must include two letters of
recommendations – one from your G-CASE sponsor and one from a
teacher who can address your teachings and leadership skills. |

Awards: |
Recipients will be notified the
week of February 1st. |
