GAEL/G-CASE Outstanding Educator
Tom Erdmanczyk Named Outstanding Educator

The 2010 Outstanding Educator Award, a GAEL/G-CASE Award, was presented to Tom Erdmanczyk, a dedicated G-CASE member and former Special Education Director in Clayton County, during the Summer GAEL Conference by G-CASE President Chris Horton. President Horton recognized Tom as a skilled and committed special education administrator. Tom devoted his entire career to students with disabilities in one of the largest school systems in Georgia, working as a high school special education teacher, lead special education teacher, coordinator, and Director of Special Education. As a lead special education teacher Tom led the effort to develop a transition curriculum that became a model for the state. G-CASE congratulates Tom and thanks him for his commitment to improving results for students with disabilities and for his dedication to G-CASE.
